You do not require a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist in Singapore (however you may need one for insurance purposes if you will be claiming).
The physiotherapist is able to perform an assessment and give you a diagnosis, and then give appropriate treatment goals and options. The physiotherapist will refer you on to a doctor or an appropriate specialist if further investigation or a second opinion is needed.
This is dependent on your insurance plan and what it covers. It is best to check with your company or insurer to find out if covered for physiotherapy.
Your insurance plan may require a doctor’s referral for physiotherapy, in order for you to be reimbursed for your physiotherapy sessions. It is best to check with your company or insurer regarding your insurance plan and their requirements.
No we don’t do direct billing to insurers, you must pay for the consultation yourself and keep the receipt, then make a claim from the insurer yourself.
If you require us to fill out an insurance claim form, please bring it along to the appointment so the treating physiotherapist can fill this out.
The clinic is open for bookings from Monday to Friday, however this may change during the school holidays.
